Justine has over 25 years’ Human Resource, Industrial Relations and Business experience in a number of different industries. She commenced her career in larger, more complex organizations and later specialized in the SME arena in both Melbourne and Adelaide.

After years working as HR Manager for various companies, Justine commenced her own HR Consulting practice in 2000, re-branding as Essential HR in 2013 and then merging Essential HR with lucent Financial in 2016, becoming lucent Advisory.

At lucent advisory Justine holds the role of Director – HR Advisory. She understands the struggles SME’s have with hiring, managing and retaining high performing people who also share the same passion and vision. In fact, most business owners or operators she has met have spent many exhausting and frustrating hours “putting out fires”, rather than focusing on growing their business. This has been due to poor HR systems, strategies and practice, as well as non-compliance issues.

With years of experience behind her, Justine believes she has found the right formula for Australian SME’s. It’s all about implementing the best HR cloud based systems in the market to manage employee information, processes & procedures and HR documentation, achieving 100% compliance and then tapping into high level HR advice to drive performance and productivity and maximise potential and opportunity.

Justine has tertiary qualifications in Human Resources and Industrial Relations, Graduate Diploma in Organisational Change and Consulting. She is also an accredited Trainer in Targeted Selection (Behavioural Interviewing Technique), an accredited Hogan Personality Profiler, and an accredited Mediator.
